St. George Roman Catholic Church in Erie, PA will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2009. This site and blog will be filled with stories, a schedule of events and hopes for the future of our parish.

Planning for celebration events will continue in Pastoral council on December 10th.
Parish Council will have 50th anniversary events in 2009 that will include:
* An Anniversary Mass
* The Parish Picnic
* The Georgian Ball
* An Evening with Daniel
Added 75 pictures of the construction of the Church to the pictures page. Also, we now have an 8mm video of parts of the constructions, the Time News article in 1961 and a view of St. George from Space.
